Independently, I tried to find a way to do half-transparency. Of course, there weren't quite so many tutorials on the subject then as there are now, so I was fairly pleased with myself, just, the result wasn't as good as it could be. It looks better now as I use a higher resolution though!

Another base I made!!!1 I made this for Angel at Magic Hogwarts for the Midsummer's Ball there. I racked my brains to find a way to draw sparkles, but without animation, they fell flat.

He always made sure I didn't visit goatse, and one night, he and some others in the IRC channel decided between like uh, the four? I remember Austin was one of them, we decided that we would stay up for four more hours. Austin dropped out early because his dad would be getting up for work, but I made it until after sunrise! This was for the midsummer's ball at MH.

Who made the first wonderkin bases? As far as I know their name has been lost to all time. I really liked their look back in the day. I think it foreshadowed the coming of Chibi styled bases.

I made a princess wearing purple! I want to say there were actually four versions of this doll: two that were wonderkin and two that were prep, two that were softened and two that were not. I don't know for sure, but it would explain why it's named Experiment.

Before antialiasing, it was rather difficult to try to make shirts that I actually owned fit on a doll. Especially at an angle. It's also difficult to show part lines in hair, which is why I stopped doing it before too long. The shirt was a percussion one I picked up from band camp. It's since gone the way of the red shirt from Experiment 1.

I really really liked this doll, and I really really liked the base! I made it following one of Josie's base making tutorials, and then I forgot to save the doll as another copy! Oh I was heartbroken :( Capris and sandals were in back then.

I like Star Wars. This is probably the only doll that will testify to that. Well, there are some that also have the cinni-buns hairstyle, but this is the only one that is a character, although I've never really ever said that it was in fact Leia, but I think it's obvious.
